Over the past 6 months leading NSW swim schools have been implementing new technology to more effectively engage and communicate with the parents in their swim school.

The SwimDesk software application has become a popular tool for Australian swim schools as it allows them to provide their customers with ongoing and detailed feedback about their child’s progress quickly and easily.

Swim schools with a large number of enrollments have traditionally struggled to communicate effectively with parents due to the time constraints of providing each parents with a detailed report on their child’s progress.

SwimDesk removes that constraint by turning each assessment on pool deck into a communication event via the programs assessment email notifications.
These notifications notify parents that their child has been assessed and provides them with user credentials to an online parent portal where parents can view their child’s progression.

With over 50 swim schools using the program in Victoria, the same trend can be seen taking place across NSW with an explosion of facilities implementing the solution over the last 6 months.

One of the first NSW facilities to implement SwimDesk software was the Leichardt Park Aquatic Centre. The facility recently underwent a significant pool re-development and boasts one of the largest programs in the state.

In contrast to the council based swim school of Leichardt, Brooke Withers swim schools located in Sydneys Northern beaches has also recently implemented the program in an effort to provide their customers with a better experience and more frequent feedback.

Other notable NSW swim schools to be in the process of implementation of the program include, Parramatta Council Swim Schools, NS Swim School, and San Souci Leisure Centre among others.
